Spartan Arbor Day 5K Virtual Fun Run/Walk

The Spartan Arbor Day 5K race highlights the importance of MSU campus green spaces and raises funds for planting trees across the vast 5,400+ acre Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, Michigan. Help our Landscape Services team reach their goal of 300+ tree plantings on campus each year!

This year, participate in our inaugural virtual 5K from anywhere in the world, where you can run, walk, swim, bike, skate, row or golf your way in support of MSU’s trees on your own schedule!  For your registration fee of $35, participants will receive the following:

• Spartan Arbor Day 5K t-shirt
• Wooden participation medal repurposed from campus arboretum trees

Share your participation with us via social media and you may win an item from the MSU Shadows Collection!

• Post a photo or video of your Spartan Arbor Day 5K to our social media sites or tag with #SpartanArborDay5K

• The best post will win a gift from the MSU Shadows Collection!

IMPORTANT NOTICE to those who registered and paid to participate in last year's Arbor Day 5K race in April 2020 that was postponed:

If you had your registration fee deferred to the rescheduled race, you DO NOT need to register again. Your registration information has been transferred to this event.

If you had your registration fee refunded, you will need to register again if you want to participate.
